This morning I slept in after Chris left for his new job. I'm excited that he has a job because I'm hoping that maybe that will lead to him wanting to go out occasionally. Plus from what he told me this afternoon when he got off it's pretty easy and non-stressful which will also be good. I made it back in time for my group meeting. Which was pretty much a waste of time. I have no idea how we're going to get this huge project done by the end of this week since I'll be gone for all of Spring Break next week. But there's only so much refocusing I can attempt before I am off on the tangents with everyone else. Needless to say, I kinda wish I had been able to stay in EL. But since I had to come back I went to the grocery store and got the things I needed to make these "Winter Energy Cookies" that I found on the Old Farmer's Almanac site. I have spent the majority of the afternoon making cookies, a simple, "boring" pork pasta dish and attempting meatballs. I also just finished sweeping and mopping the floor in the kitchen and cleaning up all the dishes. I am tired now. I forgot how much cleaning can tire you out. Enjoy some pictures. I'm going to curl up with Inkheart and call it a night. Have a good week!

A Weekend of Girls, Groups and Being a bit Domestic
It's been a fun weekend, for the most part. Friday night I watched Patch Adams after work. It'd been a while since I'd seen it and I forgot how great a movie it is. Saturday I got up and headed toward EL. I stopped at the outlet mall on the way to find something to wear for the evening out. I've noticed lately that more and more of my cute, going out clothes are too tight. Chris and I hung out for a bit once I got there, but since he hates Valentine's Day because it's too commercial or something we didn't do anything exciting. I went out with some of the single ladies from church.
We had fun seeing Shopaholic, which was good. I might have found a movie that is better than the book, although I haven't finished the book yet. We played this game where you pretty much get to rant all night, and I think we all enjoyed that. Then we headed out the Post to dance. The DJ however didn't play anything that I knew and it wasn't great dancing music. Plus Baker wasn't feeling well and so she was left sitting at the table holding it for us. I spent more time with her than on the dance floor which was alright with me.
