Today I decided to drop the second half of a two part 1/2 semester class (1.5 credits for the first half of the semester and another 1.5 credit class for the second half). The class was called "Digital Government" it wasn't what I thought it was going to be, and as much work as a 3 credit class, just in half the time. It was very frustrating and I lacked the political science background to really understand what was going on. So I only have 3 class (9 credits) for the rest of the semester. It is going to be great.
I'm now trying to figure out what to take as my cognate (a class outside of SI) because I would like to take it during the summer to help make up for the fact that I'm now 1.5 credits behind. I'm also hoping that my internship will be 6 credits which will help. Tomorrow I have to talk to my boss about the summer and if it would be possible, since Bethany (the teen librarian) is going to be having a baby in May, to work about 30 hours a week, even if I only get paid for 12 hours/week of it which is currently what I work. I think it makes sense, but we'll see what happens.
State is currently up against Indiana, if we win tonight we win the Big Ten outright! It'll be the first time in 10 years, super exciting if you ask me. That was a solid shot at the buzzer from Lucas to end the first half, we're up by 7.
