Well even though I ended up with an in-person interview for the job I didn't get it. So that means it's back to the drawing board for applying for more jobs. This also means I have to move home with my parents. I think I am going to go nuts if I don't get a job real soon.
I've been up in Northern Michigan all week trying to enjoy the beauty and peace even though my parents are making it difficult (plus the stress of finding out about the interview didn't help). But I've bought yarn to make my Ron Sweater for my OWL for HPKCHC and made one swatch, which was too small, so I'm working on a second with slightly bigger needles. Hopefully this size will work out. I also finished my first sock. It was way too small, so I've started a second with more stitches cast on and I've added some purl stitches around so that there is a slight rib to the sock. Hopefully this second sock will turn out better than the first.
I'm getting excited for September since I'll be able to start more projects! I know I could start them now, but if I didn't finish them in the next 10 days they probably wouldn't get finished until December, so why not just wait?
I also finally finished my ARC of Saphiqque. It was awesome, although I liked Incarceron better. I'm planning to read Eat, Pray, Love on the plane Monday when I head back home since I have yet to read it and want to go see the movie.
Looks like cb wants to head into town and do something other than sit on the couch and stare at the view all afternoon.
